	Catalina   (Bravio X Esplendida CR 4) 1996 Bay 15.3H PRE Andalusian Mare Revised by the Cria Caballar Codigo#21EU990   2009 Winner of the prestigious Pacific Rim award.  Garnering international wins in halter, western, Doma, English and Country Pleasure.   Producer of 2 Revised PRE stallions. 3rd level open dressage in 2010. Catalina is a favorite at Moonstruck Meadows.  She is a sweet, kind and intelligent mare who knows just how to charm the socks off of you. Catalina was purchased in Feb 1999 from Carolyn Ramos of Ranch del Parisio in Acton, California.  Catalina has proven herself as a riding horse, winning many classes in open dressage competitions. She is also many time Champion halter mare both in Canada and the NW.  She has consistently produces foals reflective of the chosen sire with added depth and agility.  Catalina is schooling 3rd level dressage, including piaffe, passage and pirouettes - and would happily carry an amateur, youth or trainer.  Photo taken July 2010.

In 2004 Carla and Catalina showed USDF First Level Adult Amateur. 

Catalina and Carla competed in open dressage in 2002.  We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and have managed to come away with a placement in every class - including a first and several seconds and thirds out of the Open classes (competing with the trainers!).  This was Carla's first time ever competing in any form of riding and everyone comments how obvious it is that the two of them have a very special relationship. 

Catalina was bred to Jerezano D for a June 2000 foal and produced a precious filly, Salsa Merengue MSM.  Salsa is only minutes old in this photo.  Catalina is an extraordinary broodmare.  She will adopt anything under one year of age in the pasture and protect them like they are her own.  Salsa is now Carla's exclusive dressage mount and they are riding 3rd level along with freestyle in 2011.

Catalina was bred to Gavilan IV for an April 2003 foal and produced a big strapping colt.  Dacio MSM is three months old old in this photo.  Dacio is now gelded and is the dressage mount for Jenni Jeronimo.

Catalina was bred to Berraco and delivered a sweet filly for us on March 3, 2005.  Camille "Cami"  will follow in her dam's footsteps as a wonderful riding and breeding horse.

Catalina was bred to many time Natl Champion Kripton/Seni II.  This 2008 colt was sold in-utero based on his pedigree and our breeding program.  Shown here only minutes old with our lovely Catalina watching over him.

Since Catalina was only three when I bought her, I decided to breed her while I waited for her to grow up. In November 1999 she was lightly started under saddle and I was able to trail ride her prior to foaling. She accepted all the new sites and sounds without any fuss.
