Salsa's Granddam, Esplendida (see her photo below where she is shown winning the National Champion filly title in Costa Rica), is known as the "Golden Goose" . She consistently produces substantial, correct offspring that take on all the best characteristics of the sire.
Salsa's sire, Jerezano D (See his photos below), bred by Denham Ranch in Texas was unfortunately gelded in 2000. Salsa is one of three of his offspring. So this makes her a rare and special girl.
Salsa's dam, Catalina, is proving herself to be a top notch dressage horse as well as a wonderful trail horse and companion.
